Shot entirely on an iPhone 14 and edited in iMovie, A Disaster Diary captures raw, real moments from the 2025 Los Angeles fires that swept through Malibu, the Palisades, and Altadena. The film highlights everyday heroes — neighbors, first responders, and families — who found faith, hope, and courage amid chaos.
“This film was created to remind us that no matter what disaster we face — fire, flood, or loss — we can always find light through faith, love, and community,” said filmmaker Pamela Conley Ulich, “It’s not about perfection. It’s about perseverance.”
